Mosaic is transforming students from the “fear of the blank canvas” to creating masterpieces; growing from art observers to artist heroes through weekly skill-based art lessons.
We are a small local business; the following guidelines are in place to keep our costs down so we can pass on the savings to you! Thank you in advance for following them!
ART LESSON REGISTRATION:
Art Lessons Onsite and Online are available year-round to serve your needs to create over the summer months as well as during the school year! You may begin whenever you are ready.
ONLINE LIVE ZOOM LESSONS ONLY
-WEEKLY LESSONS ONGOING AND STUDENTS BEGIN UPON PAYMENT SUBMITTAL
-4 once-a-week Online Introductory Registration is required for all incoming students.
MOSAIC-AT-HOME ART SUPPLY LIST
Art Supplies are not included in the tuition of your regular art lesson fee; an Art Supply List will be provided for each set of lessons
ADDITIONAL ART MATERIAL CHARGES
Art Supply List needed for each of your classes are provided. If you are working in potters clay to be fired you will be responsible for securing your own local kiln firings.
Mosaic Arts Loft offers kiln firings locally for enrolled students at an additional charge;
Kiln Firing: $60; $50 if fired in group kiln load.
Clay: $2/lb, shipping not included.
ONGOING MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS:
When registering for your initial 4 weeks of Art Lessons, you will be placed on a Monthly Subscription. You may cancel your Monthly Subscription 30 days prior to the next billing cycle, or 2 weeks into your initial 4 week Art Lesson purchase. There are No Refunds for billed lessons; if you have a scheduling conflict that arises, you will need to request Art Lesson Videos in place of your missed Art Lessons (limit 2).
MISSED LESSON MAKE UPS FOR ONLINE ART LESSONS
If a student misses their regularly scheduled Online Virtual Art Lesson, the Zoom Make Up Art Lesson recording will be emailed out and the student will be responsible for making up their instruction before their next week’s Art Lesson. There are No Refunds for Missed Art Lessons; early cancellations are also not awarded refunds.
HOLIDAY CLOSURES & INSTRUCTOR CANCELLATION
Your Instructor is also a working Artist and may need to be absent for ongoing growth by attending arts conferences and art exhibitions. If an Instructor needs to cancel an Art Lesson for health or other reasons they will be responsible for students receiving their Make Up video. For Holiday Closures and Instructor Cancellations, students will be provided with pre-recorded stand alone Art Lessons. Art Lesson recording will be emailed out and the student will be responsible for making up their instruction before the next week’s Art Lesson.
DISCONTINUING ART LESSONS – UNSUBSCRIBE:
If you need to take a break from art lessons at any time thought the year, you will need to notify by email by the 1st of the month prior to your next month of lessons (that’s 30 days in advance of cancellation). Note: Unfortunately we cannot save a spot for you if the class fills during your absence.
When you re-enroll, you will begin again with your initial weeks of paid up Art Lessons to begin. After the 30 days cancellation cut off there are no refunds once our tuition billing has been scheduled for payments. Also there are no refunds for missed Art Lessons. See above for Make Up Video Teaching.

ONGOING MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS:
When registering for your initial 8 weeks of Art Lessons, you will be placed on a Monthly Subscription. You may cancel your Monthly Subscription 30 days prior to the next billing cycle. No Refunds, but you may request to switch to another Art Lesson class time if there’s an opening.
If you need to take a break from lessons at any time thought the year, you will need to notify by email by the 1st of the month prior to your next month of lessons (that’s 31 days in advance of cancellation). Unfortunately we cannot save a spot for you if the class fills during your absence. When you re-enroll, you will begin again with your initial 8 weeks of paid up Art Lessons to begin. There are no refunds for billed lessons; if you have a scheduling conflict that arises, you will need to request Art Lesson Videos in place of your missed Art Lessons (limit 4). By registering, you are acknowledging you are in agreement to the monthly billing charges for ongoing Art Lessons. Your Tuition Investment has been averaged out over a full year and divided into regular monthly payments, similar to a studio membership fee.
FAILURE TO PICK UP MINOR STUDENT WITHIN 5 MINS OF END OF ART LESSON: Clients will be charged $25 for failure to pick up their minor child/teen on time or within 5 minutes of universal time clock. Art teachers need to be compensated for their time after Art Lessons end. Thank you for understanding and caring for our amazing teachers!
FAILURE TO PAY TUITION INVESTMENT BY THE 1ST OF THE MONTH: Auto payments not received on time will be charged $25 for failure to pay on time. Please understand on time payments helps to keep your administration costs down (a savings passed on to our student tuition). Please understand that the extra time it takes for the Director of Admin to follow up on missing payments needs to be compensated. Thank you for understanding and helping to keep admin low.
MAKE UPS FOR MISSED LESSONS:
Local on-site Students are allowed 1 make up Art Lesson Video for every 8 weeks of paid up Art Lessons. Missed Art Lessons or early cancellations are not awarded refunds.
OUT OF TOWN MAKE-UPS: Email notification on out of town absence must be 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide 24 hour notice will result in forfeit of your missed art lesson(s). Art Lesson Video be emailed to student to serve as their Make Up.
MEDICAL MAKE-UPS: Email notification on Medical Absence to the studio by 8 am on or before the day of Art Lessons to be eligible for an Art Lesson Make Up; Art Teachers are preparing for your student before Art Lessons begin and need to be notified before starting their workday. Art Lesson Video be emailed to student to serve as their Make Up.

We are small local business, we do not offer refunds. Within 2 weeks of your Art Lesson start date your tuition may be transferred to another Art Lesson day and time within 30 days of original registration.
ART CAMP REGISTRATION DATE/TIME CHANGES:
We are small local business, we do not offer refunds. Within 2 weeks before your Art Camp start date your tuition may be transferred to another Art Camp date or a fall Art Lesson (must be used in same calendar year). Within 1 week of your Art Camp start date your tuition may be transferred to another Art Camp date or a Fall Art Lesson less a $25 administrative fee. No transfers are permitted beginning end of day Thursday the week before your registered Art Camp start date.
ALL ART LESSON & CAMP PRODUCTS TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
We use our mailing lists both electronic and printed to communicate with all our Mosaic Arts Loft community. Mosaic will never share or sell mailing lists with other companies. If required by law we may need to disclose only what is requested.
ALL ART LESSON & CAMP PRODUCTS MEDICAL RELEASE FORM ONSITE ART LESSONS
Health and Safety are top priority in Mosaic’s working studio for Onsite Art Lessons as well as in our Online Art Lessons. For Onsite Art Lessons an additional hardcopy medical information form in addition to this website document will be needed to help us care for you and any special needs you may have while in the studio or on an art trip.
ALL ART LESSON & CAMP PRODUCTS EMERGENCY AUTHORIZATION AND LIABILITY RELEASE
I understand the nature of the activities at MOSAIC ARTS LOFT and give my permission for my child or myself to participate in all programs. The health history entered here is correct according to my full knowledge, and I agree to keep our medical information up-to-date and current emergency contact information confirmed and in working order in case Mosaic Arts Loft staff need to contact assistance in case of injury or other emergency during an Onsite or Online Art Lesson. In case of emergency during Art Lessons Onsite or Online I hereby give permission to the physician and medical personnel selected by the staff at MOSAIC ARTS LOFT to agree with first responder paramedics to administer needed aid to myself or children/grandchildren/child under my guardianship in the event of injury and they are unable to contact me (Parent/Guardian) to receive verbal permission; to arrange or provided necessary transportation, order x-rays, to routine tests, released any records necessary for insurance purposes, to secure and administer treatment, including hospitalization, for the person named above. I understand that MOSAIC ARTS LOFT does not provided medical insurance or reimbursement for medical fees or prescriptions and that I am responsible for any such fees arising from injury or illness that may occur.
I recognize the inherent risk of participating in art activities and understand that MOSAIC ARTS LOFT has provided safety measures to ensure the the safety of every student participant to the best of their ability. I release Mosaic Arts Loft of any and all rights and claims for damages against Mosaic Arts Loft and its staff both Full-time Staff, Part-time Staff and Interns, in the unlikely event of injury sustained by myself or my children/grandchildren/child under my guardianship during the course of or as a result of this art making activity including exposure to art materials in drawing, painting and sculpting, and all tools and equipment used as well.
I release MOSAIC ARTS LOFT, its state and advisory board members and owners, Brad and Ann Brucker, from liability for any injury, loss or damage to the above mentioned person or personal property, or death of the above named person, resulting from participant participating in activities associated with MOSAIC ARTS LOFT or act of harm from natural or outside forces, including acts of terrorism or related unforeseen medical occurrences or pandemics, includes any online tampering and hacking, and will not bring lawsuit against above mentioned.
I have read the Policies and Procedures Page and understand and agree to all. I understand that deposits and payments are non-refundable as outlined. I understand payment procedures and agree to submit prior to receiving lessons. I understand Make-Ups as outlined herein will be the responsibility of student to participate in and will only be made available during current enrollment.
This form covers Art Trips and Nature Walks as well; I release MOSAIC ARTS LOFT liability for all off-site ART TRIPS per stated here. This completed form may be photocopied as needed by MOSAIC ARTS LOFT personnel.
I grant permission to Mosaic Arts Loft permission to take photographs of students and families during Art Lessons or Art Trips, Art Shows to use for displays in the studio, on Mosaic Arts Loft website, Social Media, brochures, posters and banners, and other promotional materials created for Mosaic Arts Loft including copyright materials. I understand and give permission for Mosaic to keep live recordings of Online Zoom and other platform Virtual Art Lessons to be used for instructional need such as Make Up Art Lessons.
All On-site Students will need to abide by current Oregon Health Authority Standards in regard to Pandemics; a student must display ability to follow MOSAIC’s Health and Safety Guidelines to ensure health of all Mosaic Staff, Interns and fellow students. All Onsite Students will be required to be up-to-date on all immunizations including tetanus in accordance with the “Oregon law, (which) requires shots for children in attendance at public and private schools, preschools, childcare facilities, and Head Start programs.”
