 Welcome to the Mosaic Arts Loft Art Lessons!

We are so glad you are here! We look forward to creating with you in the studio as you join over 17 years of young creatives who have grown in their passion for art, developing their art skills, and carrying forward arts education to future generations!

We are a small local business; the following guidelines are in place to keep our costs down so we can pass on the savings to you! Thank you in advance for following them!

Art Lesson Subscription Agreement and Medical Release

Art Lesson Registration:

Your subscription begins at the time of registration and your spot in your chosen class time has been reserved. On-site Local Art Lessons are available every week, year-round to serve your needs. Now you can create over the summer months as well as during the school year!

 

Art Supplies Included:

Art Supplies are included in your subscription for all Onsite Local Art Lessons including; Art Intro K-5th, Portfolio 4th-12th, Studio Art 5th-12th, and Studio Art 18yrs-Adult. Art supplies are also included in all Seasonal Art Camps which cover drawing, painting, and clay materials. Please note that requests for extra large canvases, or large clayworks, additional fees may apply.

  

Tuition Subscription:

By registering, you are acknowledging you agree to the monthly billing charges for ongoing Art Lessons. Your tuition investment has been averaged out over a full year and divided into regular monthly payments, similar to a studio membership fee. Art lessons per month range from 5 once-a-week lessons, to 2 once-a-week lessons in December due to school holiday closures.

 

Studio Holiday Closures:

Pre-scheduled Studio Closure Breaks are posted each calendar year. Studio closures include K-12 school and major holidays.Closures are as follows: Thanksgiving Break = 1 Week, Christmas Break = 2 Weeks, New Year’s Day, Spring Break = 1 Week, Memorial Day, July 4th Independence = 1 Week, August Summer Break = 1 Week. Please see the 2023-2024 calendar below.

Ongoing Monthly Subscriptions:

When registering for your Art Lessons, you will be placed on a Monthly Subscription. You may manage your Monthly Subscription online.If you need support please email us at mosaicartsloft@yahoo.com.

We are a small business; a friendly reminder there are No Refunds for billed lessons or for missed art lessons; early cancellations are not eligable for refunds.

 

On-site Art Lessons:

Lessons are ongoing and student begins upon receipt of your registration payment. All art supplies are included in your tuition. Please wear socks and sturdy athletic shoes (no flip-flops), and jacket for cool mornings outside. No head-phones or use of electronic devices during art lesson time unless specified.

 

Online Zoom Art Lessons:

Lessonsare ongoing and the student begins upon registration payment submittal. Art supplies are not included in your tuition; an Art Supply List will be provided.

 

No Make Up Art Lessons for travel or Medical Absences:

We no longer offer Make Up Art Lessons to keep our tuition costs down; for Medical Sickness we do offer Zoom links with early email notification to mosaicartsloft@yahoo.com for students to join their regular scheudled Art Lesson/Art Camp from home for a modified lesson.

 

Medical Make Ups: Email notification on Medical Absence to the studio by 8 am on or before the day of Art Lessons/Art Camp to be eligible for an Art Lesson/Art Camp Zoom Lesson; Art Teachers are preparing for your student before Art Lesson/Art Camp begins and need to be notified before starting their workday if you are sick and want to join your regular Art Lesson on Zoom. Student may participate in their modified Art Lesson/Art Camp from home over Zoom at their regular lesson time with proper notification.

 

Instuctor Cancellation:

Your Instructor is also a working Artist and may need to be absent for ongoing growth by attending arts conferences and art exhibitions.  If an Instructor needs to cancel an Art Lesson for health or other reasons they will provide an Online Art Lesson over Zoom or a Rescheduled Art Lesson time. If the instructor is unable to teach live, the instructor will be responsible for students receiving a Video Art Lesson.

 

Art Lesson Day and Time Changes:

You may manage your own changes within your account at mosaicartsloft.com.

 

Discontinuing Your Art Lesson Subscription:

Clients manage their own enrollments inside of their account log in.

If you need to take a break from art lessons at any time thought the year, we ask you to notify us by email mosaicartsloft@yahoo.com 30+ days in advance of cancellation so we can assist student to complete any art works in process and also notify our waitlist of the new open spot.

There are no refunds once our tuition billing has been scheduled for payments; please manage your subscription in your account. You are responsible to know when your renewal date is, even if you mentioned the change to your instructor. Also there are no refunds for missed Art Lessons.

Note: Unfortunately we cannot save a spot for you if the class fills during your absence, as our monthly operational costs are ongoing and need to be covered. When you re-enroll, you will begin again at the new current tuition rate with your new billing cycle.  

 

Additional Charges:

Failure to pick up Minor Student within 5 mins of lesson end time:

Clients will be charged $25 for failure to pick up their minor child/teen on time or within 5 minutes of universal time clock. Art Instructors need to be compensated for their time after the Art Lessons end. Thank you for understanding and caring for our amazing teachers!

Tuition Payment Failure: Auto payments not received on time will be charged a $25 late fee. Please understand on time payments helps to keep our administration costs down, and we are happy to pass along the savings along to you by keeping student tuition costs down. Thank you for your understanding!

  

Art Camp What to Bring:

On-site Art Camp Students must bring 2 healthy snacks, lunch if needed, and a water bottle. Please wear socks and sturdy athletic shoes (no flip-flops), and jacket for cool mornings outside. No head-phones or use of electronic devices during art lesson time unless specified.

Art Camp Registration Day/Time Changes:

We are small local business, we do not offer refunds. Within 2 weeks before your Art Camp start date your tuition may be transferred to another Art Camp date or a fall Art Lesson (must be used in same calendar year).  Within 1 week of your Art Camp start date your tuition may be transferred to another Art Camp date or a Fall Art Lesson less a $25 administrative fee.  No transfers are permitted beginning end of day Thursday, the week before your registered Art Camp start date.

 

Terms and Conditions of Use:

We use our mailing lists both electronic and printed to communicate with all our Mosaic Arts Loft Community. Mosaic will never share or sell mailing lists to any other companies or entities.  If required by law we may need to disclose only what is requested. Any and all content and material contained in our website, social media and promotional materials may be subject to copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights and may not be copied, recorded, published, broadcast, posted, modified, transmitted, displayed, distributed or downloaded for commercial purposes. Any links included on our site are not governed by our privacy policy, and Mosaic Arts Loft, and Owners Ann Brucker and Brad Burcker are not responsible for the privacy and protection of any information you may provide them on their site. By engaging and using Mosaic Arts Loft’s website, you agree to our privacy policy as described above and to our terms of use.

 

Emergency Authorization and Liabiiity Release: 

Health and Safety are top priority in Mosaic’s working studio for Onsite Art Lessons as well as in our Online Art Lessons.I understand the nature of the activities at Mosaic Arts Loft and give my permission for my child, grandchild, and/or myself to participate in all programs.  The health history entered is correct to my full knowledge, and I agree to keep my child/grandchild/my medical information up-to-date and current. Emergency contact information is confirmed and in working order in case a Mosaic Arts Loft staff member needs to call for medical assistance in case of injury or other emergency during an Onsite or Online Art Lesson. In case of emergency during Art Lessons Onsite or Online I hereby give permission to the physician and medical personnel selected by the staff at Mosaic Arts Loft to agree with first responder paramedics to administer needed aid to myself or children/grandchildren/child under my guardianship in the event of injury and they are unable to contact me (Parent/Guardian) to receive verbal permission;to arrange or provided necessary transportation, order x-rays, to routine tests, release any records necessary for insurance purposes, to secure and administer treatment, including hospitalization, for the person named above. I understand that Mosaic Arts Loft does not provide medical insurance or reimbursement for medical fees or prescriptions and that I am responsible for any such fees arising from injury or illness that may occur.

I recognize the inherent risk of participating in art activities and understand that Mosaic Arts Loft has provided safety measures to ensure the the safety of every student and adult participant to the best of their ability. I release Mosaic Arts Loft and Owners Ann Brucker and Brad Brucker of any and all rights and claims for damages against Mosaic Arts Loft and its staff both Full-time Staff, Part-time Staff, Contract Instructors and Interns, in the unlikely event of injury sustained by myself or my children/grandchildren/child under my guardianship during the course of or as a result of all art making activity including exposure to art materials in drawing, painting and sculpting, and all tools and equipment used as well.

I release Mosaic Arts Loft, its state and advisory board members and owners Ann Brucker and Brad Brucker, from liability for any injury, loss or damage to the above mentioned person or personal property, or death of the above named person, resulting from participant participating in activities associated with Mosaic Arts Loft or act of harm from natural or outside forces, including acts of terrorism or related unforeseen medical occurrences or pandemics, which includes any online tampering and hacking, and will not bring a lawsuit against above mentioned.

I have read the Policies and Procedures Page and understand and agree to all. I understand that deposits and payments are non-refundable as outlined. I understand payment procedures and agree to submit prior to receiving lessons.

This form covers Art Trips and Nature Walks as well; I release Mosaic Arts Loft liability for all off-site Art Trips as stated here. This completed form may be photocopied as needed by Mosaic Arts Loft personnel.

I grant permission to Mosaic Arts Loft permission to take photographs of any students and families during Art Lessons, Art Trips, and Art Shows to use for displays in the studio, on the Mosaic Arts Loft website, Social Media, brochures, posters and banners, and other promotional materials created for Mosaic Arts Loft including copyright materials. I understand and give permission for Mosaic Arts Loft to keep live recordings of Online Virtual Art Lessons to be used for instructional need such as Zoom Art Lessons.

All On-Site Students will need to abide by current Oregon Health Authority Standards in regard to Pandemics; a student must display ability to follow Mosaic Arts Loft’s Health and Safety Guidelines to ensure health of all Mosaic Staff, Contract Instructors, Interns and fellow students. All Onsite Students will be required to be up-to-date on all immunizations including tetanus in accordance with the “Oregon law, (which) requires shots for children in attendance at public and private schools, preschools, childcare facilities, and Head Start programs.
